#30: Was homebuying really worth it? | Confessions from a first time home buyer
As a first time home buyer, I’m sure you’re considering if you want to go through the full process of buying a home. It is a lot. In fact, my friends often ask me, “was buying your first home really worth it?” and I always answer yes. Primarily because this is strictly an investment for me. I don’t plan to live here forever and the goal was to manage my finances (being a homeowner makes this easier) and to collect rental income while building equity.
I’m all about building wealth and most millionaires have real estate investments in their portfolio. Now I may not have 100,000 right now to immediately purchase a rental property, but I already know how much I will cashflow once it’s time to rent my home out.
In this video, I will discuss 3 ways that I’m benefiting from homeownership and hopefully, they encourage you to keep going with the process.
