However, like many millennials, I once lived paycheck-to-paycheck. In fact, I spent the majority of my 20s living for the now. Very much a "you only live once" impulsive spender.
However, getting laid off twice and struggling to buy my first home taught me that financial independence is my responsibility. Not my job, my partner's, my parents -> mine.
And now I help other women do the same.
